Hello Consejo Members
I just wanted to introduce myself to all of you. I am Teresa Hayes-Santos, and I have been assisting Gil at the Institute for Latino Studies since June of 2008. Recently, I began working as Art Coordinator and will be working with Maria Elena on Consejo. I was back in Austin for a visit last week and when to Mexic-arte.
I just want to say that after seeing the show again with time to look at all the work, is evident to me that this is a very important exhibition.
We need to congratulate Silvia and of course Sam and his staff for all the work that they did.
Is there a way for this show to travel even if it gets reduce in size or can we find a way to print a catalog or brochure so we don't let the impact of this show vanished.
Just wanted to share this with everybody.
Hope all is well in this hard economic times.
